Recaldent

Professor Eric Reynolds, head of the college of Melbourne's faculty of Dental technological know-how, located a way to repair tooth tooth with calcium and phosphate from cow's milk. His group devised a compound derived from milk proteins that could bind to teeth and offer a reservoir of calcium and phosphate to be absorbed by way of the enamel. Recaldent is now incorporated into merchandise together with chewing gum, toothpaste and mouthwash.
